The governments of the European Union have extended sanctions against Belarus for another year, that is to 28 February 2021. This is stated on the website of the Council of the European Union. Other countries have joined the decision, among them was Ukraine but also Norway, and Bosnia.
The sanctions are directed against a number of Belorussian officials, and limits the ability of Belarus to buy weapons.
