First Past the Post

I am personally a fan of direct democracy, the current system is an eighteenth century anachronism. Today we have technologies like blockchain. Obviously, there are things to hammer out like filing of motions, and the rules around it. Government digital infrastructure that would allow every citizen to vote. Security of the system would also have to be maintained.

The British system has this beautiful thing that you at least know your MP. Whether that means anything is open to debate. Here in Czechia you just need 5% of the vote to get a seat. This is how I got elected.
